Art West Annual Retreat
Art West Annual summer 5-day artist retreat camp held at Camp Wannukumbac at scenic Clear Lake, Manitoba. Here you will have the opportunity to develop artistic goals and skills past an introductory level.
This retreat has been running each summer for the past 29 years with great success. This year he camp will be held from June 18-23 2017. The classes offered are the following;

Pottery classes are offered year round at the Stoneware Studio space which is owned by five partners, Inga Torfadottir, Valery Metcalf, Katherine Coop, Marusia Foster and Jennifer Johnson.
Classes for both beginner and advanced students are offered.
There are ten wheels available as well as a slab roller for hand building and dozens of glazes.
Once the pieces are finished they are high fired in a reduction atmosphere.
Printmaking classes
Inga Torfadottir teaches both printmaking and pottery classes year-round as well as at workshops.
Printmaking classes are offered at Martha Street Studio for new and experienced artists to improve their craft. Each spring, fall, and winter we offer adult education classes in the print arts that include etching/intaglio, digital darkroom, screen printing, letterpress, and much more!
The studio is home to 2000 square feet of state of the art printing equipment and facilities that are available to all students throughout the duration of their classes.
