In the black and white monoprints I play with the notion of light, texture and form and how they coexist and evolve in space. All color, except black, white and grey, has been left out to reach a clearer tone. 

A measure of tranquility and calmness must be achieved. Likewise all unnecessary detail and “noise” is kept to a minimum. The desired result is a pure form which emerges and converges with space.
